Fantastic news, we're now B Corp certified!

It's not just a pat on the back; it's a serious commitment to using our business as a force for good. And let's be real, in today's world, that's more important than ever.
 

What it means to be B Corp Certified
 

B Corp Certification is a designation that a business is meeting high standards of verified social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency throughout its entire operation. It legally obliges companies to consider the impact on their employees, clients and customers, society and the environment in their decisions, leading to a focus on the positive effects for all these stakeholders.

Why it’s a big deal


This certification didn't come easy (because nothing worth having ever does, right?). We had to go through a rigorous assessment process that looked at everything from our impact on society to how we treat our employees.

We had to meet a score of at least 80 points on the B Impact Assessment, an evaluation of our positive impact that had to be backed with strong case examples (we scored 90.1 by the way!). In addition, we had to pass a risk review (an evaluation of our company’s potential negative impact) and change our corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders. Finally, we needed to show transparency by allowing information about our B Corp Certification performance to be publicly available on our B Corp profile on B Lab’s website.

Simply put, it's like a full-body scan for businesses, and we're proud to share that we surpassed expectations with stellar grades. Not bad for a company with over 360 employees across Belgium and the Netherlands!
