Bringing the Batibouw experience to every home

Batibouw is one of Belgium’s largest trade show fairs for construction, renovation and home improvement. With more than 1,000 exhibitors participating each year, Beko was looking to set itself apart from the crowd with a show-stopping stand.

Business challenge

Build brand awareness of Beko at Batibouw by creating an immersive brand experience micro influencers and organising a digital social media campaign.

Insights

Beko is considered to be a disruptor in the home appliance market. Instead of showing off their appliances at the exhibition, we wanted to share how its products are making life easier for families.

Ideas

Instead of showcasing Beko appliances in a display case, we decided to bring them to life with a live cooking show. We transformed the Beko stand into a test kitchen and recruited local health and wellness influencers to serve as hosts of the live show.

But this wasn’t your-average cooking show. We broadcasted the event over Facebook Live, and invited people to vote for their favourite ingredients through a poll. Another catch? The voters weren’t attendees at Batibouw, but viewers at home.
